By empowering Black and brown artists to reclaim their narratives, Dance Iquail addresses systemic racism and homophobia, creating safe spaces for creativity and self-expression.

Dance Iquail is launching the theme “250 Black Moves” with their upcoming Celebrate Mantua festival, a powerful initiative that recognizes how Black movement—through dance, culture, and creative expression—has shaped the story of America. From the rhythms of African diasporic traditions to the evolution of contemporary performance, Black artistry has long been an essential force in shaping the cultural fabric of this country.
